EFX will randomly turn on and jump values when using the control slider. But sometimes the keys will send really low notes or sustain certain notes after pressing. Testing it with FL Studio 10 and 20, I noticed that some of the keys take multiple presses to output the right note data. The MIDI OUT/THRU DIN port is slightly finicky.

I opened up the unit itself and checked, the PCB where the Knobs connect to the unit was cracked down the middle and broken in half. The EFX/EDIT Palette knobs do not work at all.

RCA Jacks don't work, the headphone jack only outputs the left channel only. PROBLEMS WITH THE UNIT: - The RCA I/O board has many issues. Everything in terms of the software mostly works, however. All the SC-55, SC-88, and SC-88PRO instrument mapping works fine, MIDI channels all behave and respond accordingly, MIDI CC mapping is all good, and all sliders and wheels on the left side panel work fine. The actual system/logic board works fine. I got this keyboard off of Reverb for ~130 back in December of 2020, thinking it was full working with some cosmetic wear and tear.

It has the same functionalities as the module cousin, but with some UI tweaks to make it slightly more user/stage friendly. This keyboard was a spinoff of the Roland Sound Canvas SC-88PRO module, released a few years prior. Please read the whole description as it explains why this is 'for parts'.
